Managing Anxiety with Structure

I learned at a young age the importance of creating structure to find measurable ways to improve while calming my anxiety.

Growing up, I heard time and again that pick-up basketball wouldn’t help my game - it was too unstructured. But I knew I'd be better playing with adults who were more physical.

So, I went to the gym with a focus - only shooting with my left, only making bounce passes, and even forcing myself to focus on my four teammates by not shooting the ball at all.

In all aspects of my life, I yearn for structure to manage uncertainty. Now is certainly no different.

How have you created structure for yourself during these times?
