We've heard for years that people like doing business with people they like. A step further, it's much easier to like people who are happy.
Employers focus on employee engagement, but we don't talk enough about employee happiness. And I don't mean happiness tied to job satisfaction, but genuine happiness. Happy employees will be more productive, or at worst, better in communications with internal and external customers.
